two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This opportunity will be the successor to the current Project Academy. Project Academy for Sellafield was originally established in 2016. It delivers project management short courses, professional qualifications and degree programmes to prepare and educate employees in Sellafield's West Cumbria and Warrington locations for the changing landscape of project management.

The Project Academy is not a physical place; instead it is an integrated pathway of education, training, development and professional qualification.

The Project Academy will provide a centre of excellence for the development of project delivery skills and will allow the NDA Estate to develop their growing capability to deliver our projects. As the Sellafield and NDA mission changes we need to ensure that all of the people working on our sites are provided with the education, training and professional qualifications required to deliver our unique and complex projects.

The proposed strategy for the agreement duration is up to a maximum of 9-year framework, with optional break point at year 5.
The value of the opportunity will be subject to demand across Sellafield Ltd and the NDA Estate, but for planning purposes the estimate of the anticipated framework value for the maximum duration of 9 years is £20,000,000 (£20m).

two.2.14) Additional information

As referenced to in II.1.4) Short description, the market engagement activity will be managed via the shared service Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) OneNDA eCommercial Systems powered by Atamis (Atamis), which can be accessed via the URL https://atamis-2464.my.site.com/s/Welcome .
Along with the issue of potential further PIN’s going forward, Atamis will be used to facilitate and provide details of further Market Engagement activity that we intend to use going forward such as webinars, and potential further RfI requests. It is therefore important that interested organisations monitor Contracts Finder, the Find a Tender Service and Atamis for further PIN’s and market engagement activities relating to the Project Academy Contract Opportunity.
Once you have registered on Atamis, you can access using the record reference C19166, the
Project Academy draft scope and the RfI template documents referred to in II.1.4.1 Short Description above.
If you are interested in providing feedback on our draft scope, proposed delivery models and proposed transition period post contract placement, you should again access Atamis using record reference C19166 and upload and return your completed RfI template by attaching it to a message using the ‘New Messages’ functionality.
