3 month extension of existing services from 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2025 and an expected increase to the total contract value of £417,370.

Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee.
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
Three-month extension is required due to time taken to consider representations on the procurement outcome, the length of which was not foreseeable. The extension is required to continue providing patient care and to ensure the original mobilisation period for the new provider is upheld.
