Scope of Works - Playing Field
- Removal of existing swing set (7 years and under)
- Supply and installation of replacement non-wooden swing set
- Repair and making good of wetpour surfacing or rubber surface alternative.
- Supply and installation of zip wire (location to be confirmed) options requested to include non-wooden zip wire or partially wooden construction, with metal ground fixing and steel top bars
- Supply and installation of climbing frame (Perlu or equivalent) (A Play unit Built to challenge and excite older children, this structure could combine multiple towers, high platforms, a twisted crossover, net climber, a stainless steel slide and an outrigger ladder to encourage active, adventurous play. It's all about height, movement, and exploration - giving children the space to climb higher, move faster, and push their physical limits in a safe, stimulating environment, Every feature should have been designed to promote strength, balance, coordination, and confidence on wetpour or rubber surface.
Supply and installation of Youth Shelter with hard surface underneath and groundworks specification to be supplied.
Scope of Works - Amenity Field
- Creation of new gated entrance self-closing not essential
- Construction of accessible path not gravel, hard surface required.
- Supply and installation of accessible roundabout (should be designed to be also accessible for individuals with mobility impairments and wheelchair users, featuring a rotating base that sits flush with the surrounding safety surface for smooth transitions., The Item should be delivered to site fully fabricated with no alterations or adjustments having to be made on site, Bearings should have accessible lubrication points
The roundabout will require free-draining ground, additional drainage may be required, we would welcome your comments

All works must comply with BS EN 1176, BS EN 1177, RoSPA guidance, the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
7. Health, Safety & Insurance
Contractors must provide site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and evidence of the following minimum insurance levels:
- Public Liability Insurance: £5 million
- Employers' Liability Insurance
8. Site Visits
Contractors are encouraged to undertake a site visit prior to submitting a quotation. Visits can be arranged by contacting the Parish Clerk.
9. Quotation Requirements
Quotations must include:

Quotations will be evaluated on the basis of price, compliance with the specification, quality and durability of equipment, contractor experience, and ability to meet timescales. The Parish Council does not undertake to accept the lowest or any quotation.
