NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) is undertaking a competitive process and is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to bid for a community-based phlebotomy service in Deal, Kent.
The anticipated contract duration will be for an initial period of 12 months with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months.
The service is being procured under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

The service is for the provision of a community-based phlebotomy service in Deal, Kent.
This service aims to provide a community phlebotomy service that is supplementary to the existing phlebotomy service in primary care. Patients will be directed or signposted to the service from primary care and/or secondary care, as clinically indicated.
By commissioning a community phlebotomy service, the intended outcome is provision of timely access to diagnostic and monitoring phlebotomy to aid early intervention and treatment.
