The London Borough of Redbridge ("Redbridge Council") is establishing a web-based Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of passenger transport for children and young people and vulnerable adults. The DPS is open to any operator to join at any time, upon satisfying the selection criteria.
The service is required to provide transport for over 600 SEND pupils to over 100 schools and colleges and children young people and other locations. Much of this is provided through commercial contactors. The service will also transport vulnerable adults to college, day centres and provide ad hoc services for other teams within the council.
