It is a requirement of this tender that if the Bidder is UK based they must hold a valid registration with Companies House. Where the

Bidder is UK based but not Registered at Companies House they must be able to verify to the Council’s satisfaction that they are trading

from the address provided in the tender and under the Company name given.

three.1.2) Economic and financial standing

List and brief description of selection criteria

A Credit safe credit scoring check will be ran on registered Company Name and Company Number provided by the bidder. Where the

resulting Credit Rating score is less than 30/100 the bidder may be excluded from the tender process unless suitable financial information is

provided that gives satisfactory assurances to the Council regarding financial risk in appointing the bidder to the contract.

Public Contracts Regulations 2015 state that before awarding the contract, the Contracting Authority shall require the tenderer(s) to submit

up to date supporting documents. This includes the insurance requirements stated in the Qualification Envelope (SPD within PCST):

Employer’s (Compulsory) Liability Insurance = 10 Million GBP

It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that all employees, plant, tools and all associated support equipment are fully insured for use within a site environment (including travelling to & from site) during the required works periods. See levels of Indemnity above and as detailed within the Contract Notice.

Your hiring agreement must be:

- The Model Conditions for the Hiring of Plant recommended by the Construction Plant-hire Association, Scottish Plant Owners Association or Hire Association Europe or conditions no more onerous which are current at the time of the hire; or

- other written conditions of hire which have been submitted to, and approved by, us in writing.

If there is a loss involving hire conditions more onerous than those named above the amount we pay will be limited to the liability under the above as applicable (1M GBP limit of liability plus

continuing hire charges).

1. Bidders will be required to provide 3 examples of works carried out in the past five years that demonstrate that they have the relevant experience to deliver the work as described in part II.2.4 of the Find a Tender Service Contract Notice or the relevant section of the Site Notice.

2.Bidders will be required to confirm whether they intend to subcontract and, if so, for what proportion of the contract.

3. The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001 (or equivalent), OR provide responses in relation to 4D.1.2 A through to G in the in the SPD(Scotland) Standard Statements v1.10.

4. The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001 (or equivalent) or have within the last 12 months successfully met the assessment requirements of a construction — related scheme in registered membership of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum OR provide responses in relation to 4D.1.4a through to 4k in the SPD(Scotland) Standard Statements v1.10

All Contractor(s) ranked No.1 within Lots 1,3,4,5 & 7 will be required to provide one Modern Apprenticeship (MA), or equivalent within four months from award of the agreement who is obtained from a source agreed by the Council. The MA placement can be across a range of disciplines to be determined by the successful contractor. The contractor will be required to meet with Falkirk Council’s Employment and Training Unit to discuss implementation prior to contract start. The maximum number of Modern Apprenticeship opportunities per Contractor will be 1 (one) per Lot.
