Description

The SMeviC is a Consortium of four Local Authorities, led by Nottinghamshire County Council with Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council and Nottingham City Council and Midlands Connect (Sub-National Transport Body), supported by East Midlands Combined Authority (EMCCA).

The SMeviC have collaborated to develop and deliver the LEVI project, which will enable the installation of EV charge points in areas where residents do not have access to off-street parking.

As Lead Authority, Nottinghamshire County Council is undertaking a further soft market testing exercise to:

• Share updates on the SMeviC's proposed procurement approach, aligned with OZEV objectives.

• Allow suppliers to provide feedback on the previous tender exercise (see SMeviC Introduction section below).

• Gather market insight to inform the development of the forthcoming tender.

The exercise seeks provider views on:

• Capacity and capability.
