A collaborative public procurement process to award a new contract for supplier(s) to assure the supply of and deliver the feeds and ONS products and associated support and supply services for adult and paediatric patients with specific clinical nutritional need in the acute hospitals of Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and of Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, and community hospitals which they support, and in NWSP and GWP areas (all being within SHICS) including within the areas in which the Authority provides patient care, to assure:
1appropriate supply of:
(i)feed and ONS to acute patients; and
(ii)feed to community patients.
2appropriate supplier-nurse support of supplied products including:
(i)domiciliary attendances for training and consultation with patients; and
(ii)hospital attendances to train patients;and
3 clear and timely communications with Health Care Professionals in Authority Dietetics departments (HCPs) by Supplier staff
as stated in further detail in the Specification in the ITT.

Precise information on deadline(s) for review procedures
The Authority will incorporate a minimum period of standstill of ten days from the day after the day on which the award of contract is communicated to tenderers.
This period allows the unsuccessful tenderers to challenge or seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into.
If an appeal regarding the award of contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within 3 months). Where a contract has not been entered into the contract award proceedings will be immediately suspended.
