Description
Across Derbyshire there is a need for supported accommodation, designed for young people aged 16 and over in care and those transitioning out of care, that helps them to prepare for independent living by providing housing options with on-site support or outreach support services.
The Council is seeking to partner with an OFSTED registered provider to effectively deliver Childrens Accommodation Support Service either through a sole provider, primary provider and sub-contractor or consortium/joint venture with a designated lead bidder /subcontractors delivery model.
The Council will require 160 supported accommodation units across Derbyshire. This includes:
• Minimum of 90 units available at contract start date
• 130 units (including the initial 90) available within 12 months of contract start date
• Remaining 30 units to be agreed during the first 12 months of the contract.

- £62,400,000 including VAT

Description of possible extension:
Two, 2 year extension periods are available, subject to satisfactory performance, budget availability and on-going requirements for the service.
Options
The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.
Option to implement an emergency accommodation solution that meets the needs of Service Users.
Option to increase or decrease the number of accommodation units to be provided under the Contract.
Option to modify where the Council determines that it is in the best interest of an individual Service User to remain in their established placement beyond the date of termination of the Agreement.
