This tender process is for the provision of Water Quality Modelling. A summary of the scope forming part of this tender is stated below.

In response to requirements set by the Environment Act 2021 and the Storm Overflow Discharge Reduction Plan (SODRP) within AMP8, we aim to procure qualified contractors for River Water Quality Current Position Assessments. The overarching goal is to ensure STW adheres to the mandate of 'no local adverse ecological impact' from storm overflows. This section of the broader initiative involves a comprehensive evaluation of storm overflow impacts on river water quality, aligning with new regulatory drivers such as EnvActINV4 in England and W_U_INV1 in Wales.

This tender will be for the procurement of specialist consultant support to produce water quality models which assess the impact of storm overflows to river water quality. These range from simple to complex models based on performance of overflows and river condition
