two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Mini-competition under ESPO 985_19 Lots 1 & 3 for the various OH functions under an overarching contract for a managed Framework Service Provider. The Authority wish to continue to derive benefits by continuing to amalgamate these services with 1 supplier. This requirement will not be split into individual Lots and the intention is to award any resulting contract to a single service provider. Re-tender of a consolidated occupational health service provision using a managed service provider. The approach is to be by a mini-competition via ESPO Framework 985_19. There are 7 regional suppliers to be approached under Lot 1 (General Occupational Health Services) and Lot 3 (Blue Light Services). Current contract provision expires on 4th August 2021. Timescales include an approx 2 month implementation period. The main stakeholder is Corporate Occupational Health who provide governance and the initial assessments for onward advice and treatment. These services include, recruitment medicals, ongoing in-service medicals, physiotherapy, officer ill health pension retirement decisions, and an employee assistance programme (EAP). This project scope also now includes the provision of vaccines (Influenza). This requirement will not be split into individual Lots and the intention is to award any resulting contract to a single service provider.
