Preliminary Market Engagement
The University of Worcester intends to tender for a contract to appoint an external supplier to provide security staffing to the University of Worcester. The University is looking to operate a hybrid system of working where both University and Contracted Security Staff work together to provide a professional, excellent security service to the University.
As part of our preparation, we are undertaking preliminary market engagement to inform the scope, structure and approach of the procurement process. This engagement is for information-gathering purposes only and does not form part of the formal evaluation.
We are seeking early engagement with and feedback from Suppliers with:
• Demonstrable expertise in delivering a reliable provision of security staff
• Experience working within the Higher Education Sector/ Public Sector/Similar Experience
• Capacity to plan and deliver a cost-effective solution
• Staff with a variety of key competencies/Training
Total value (estimated)
- £3,000,000 excluding VAT
- £3,600,000 including VAT
Contract dates (estimated)
- 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2028
- Possible extension to 31 August 2031
