Description
Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of services for the collection, transportation, and recycling of mixed inert waste.
In summary, the services required are the collection, direct transportation, weighing and recycling of mixed inert waste from Preston Transfer Station (or such other Authority Waste Facility as may be agreed by the parties to the Agreement from time to time).
The mixed inert waste will be made available to the provider under the List of Wastes Code 17 09 04.

Description of possible extension:
The initial Framework period will be 24 (twenty four) months, after such time the Authority may extend the Framework by any number of defined periods, provided that the total duration does not exceed 48 (forty eight) months.

Framework operation description
The framework agreement will be a single supplier framework agreement, with prices set in the framework agreement.
If Lancashire County Council elects to source services through the agreement then it shall award any contracts in accordance with the terms laid down in the agreement by placing an order with the provider.
