two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The successful supplier will provide a School Based Universal Counselling Service in accordance with the Authority’s requirements and the National Strategy for School based Counselling Services in Wales.
The Service will be provided on a flexible basis so that children and young people can access support via a range of methods including face to face sessions, group support, remotely online and via the telephone when required. The Service will cover all pupils attending schools, within the geographical boundaries of TCBC, including independent schools and any further education provision. They will operate alongside and in a manner that enhances existing support systems. Services will also be available to any other pupils who reside in the authority who may not currently be attending school.
The contract term will be 3 years with an option to extend for up to a maximum of 24 months in total. The annual price will be fixed at 165,000 GBP for the first 3 years.
