Trained volunteer mental health peer supporters with lived experience of perinatal mental health, provide emotional support to women residing in Halton and Warrington, aged 16 +, who are experiencing mild-moderate mental health difficulties during the perinatal and postnatal period, from pregnancy up to the first 24 months following childbirth. Support is delivered 1-1 and in groups, in person and online, in order to create a more inclusive and accessible offer to the whole parenting community.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB - Halton and Warrington Place intend to award a 1 year contract via Direct award C to incumbent provider to deliver the Parents in Mind Service in Halton and Warrington. The contract will start on the 1st of April 2025, expire on 31st March 2026 and has an annual contract value of £117,700.

On the 12th December 2024, Halton Place Senior Leadership Team and on 21st January 2025, Warrington Place Senior Leadership teams respectively approved this decision and no conflicts of interested were declared.
