Description

This commission seeks to appoint a supplier to design, supply and distribute modern functional branded and unbranded uniform, workwear and PPE of a consistent and complimentary appearance to Officers of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority working across its transport functions, and customer facing teams associated with its franchised bus services, supported by an intuitive and intelligent online ordering portal and customer support service.

Lot 1. Branded and unbranded uniform and Workwear

Description

Supply of branded and unbranded uniform, workwear and light PPE for customer-facing Metro Network operational staff working across Customer Delivery (tolls), Asset Management, Transport Network Performance & Operations, concierge & housekeeping and franchised bus services.

Description

Supply of Hi-Viz and outerwear, safety-critical PPE required for asset management, maintenance, engineering and other operational environments. Including certified high-risk items such as EN ISO 20471 Class 3 garments, flame retardant equipment, welding PPE, safety footwear etc

Suppliers are asked to provide the following garments in a small, medium and large size:

• 1 pair cargo pants

• 1 men's polo shirt

• 1 water-proof outer layer

• 1 Women's short sleeve fitted shirt

Each supplied item will be tested blind and scored out of five for two criteria - Compliance with Specification and Overall Quality (Stitching quality, fabric weight, colourfastness, consistency across batches, comfort during driving and on-foot duties). see 'scoring Guide' for detail)

If any of the required items are not supplied, then they will automatically be score for this section.
