Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea will soon be recommissioning Healthy Lifestyle services with the aim to have new services in place for 1 January 2024.

The Integrated Healthy Lifestyle Service aims to reduce risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD) and lifestyle related cancers.

The current service provides adult weight management courses, group physical activity courses, smoking cessation, training to professionals and NHS Health Checks promotion.

To support the re-procurement, we want to host a series of engagement workshop opportunities in May and June with potential providers.

The workshops will provide an opportunity to discuss the existing services, identify gaps, service priorities, good practice, and challenges to help us to develop a proposed model and service outcomes to continue to reduce health inequalities for our local populations.

We are keen to hear your views and utilise your expertise to commission high-quality services. We are interested in hearing from a range of organisations that can shape the service design to meet the needs of residents.

Participation in these engagement opportunities does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered.

To register your expression of interest kindly visit our e-tendering portal; www.capitalesourcing.com (search for the following reference: prj_ASC_21944

The Authority reserves the right, at its own discretion, to withdraw from the process and pursue alternative routes to market for the provision of these services, should it decide to do so.

Expressions of Interest are not to be emailed directly and must go via the E-procurement portal capitalEsourcing.
