Description

The Council is seeking a qualified contractor to undertake a comprehensive gully cleansing and asset validation programme over a two-year period to help the Council transition to a risk-based cyclical maintenance model.

The Council has approximately 60,000 gully assets. This is maintained by a single tanker and crew which achieves a 50% cleansing rate based on cleansing all gully assets each year. The Council aims to improve its maintenance efficiency and effectiveness through this exercise, providing the basis for a comprehensive risk-based model. This will determine the appropriate frequency and schedule of cleansing across the asset base, reducing the maintenance demand and improving performance.
