two.1.4) Short description

This project is for the construction of the new National Centre for Child Health Technology (NCCHT). A scheme key to the ambitions of the Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust, as an international centre of excellence the NCCHT will attract inward investment, support growth in the life sciences sector and attract the best talent in the world by creating high-value jobs. The aim is for the NCCHT to position the UK as a global leader in children's health by developing the most advanced children's healthcare system in the world.

The works involve the site establishment and construction of the project on the Olympic Legacy Park, Sheffield. This opportunity shall be for the main building works including Fit-Out and M&E and the external landscaping /connection to the existing road network. The anticipated Gross Internal Area (GIA) is circa 4,000 Sq/m. At date of notice the Project is progressing through Stage 3 Design.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The works involve the site establishment and construction of the project on the Olympic Legacy Park, Sheffield. This opportunity shall be for the main building works including the external landscaping and connection to the existing road network. The anticipated GIA is circa 4,000 Sq/m.

The form of contract is anticipated to bean JCT Form of Contract (Design and Build). However, this is subject to change.

The contracting party currently intend to use the WT Partnership E-Doc system Mashoom as a portal to undertake a Restricted Tender Process. This is a 2-stage process, which will include a Selection Questionnaire (SQ)stage and then an Invitation to Tender(ITT). Only those bidders who pass the SQ stage will be invited to the ITT stage to submit a final bid.

This PIN notice is not a call for competition. A contract notice will be published as a call to competition later in the year (2024).

Further communication is not expected at this procurement stage.
