The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) will be running a Market Engagement Day on 20 May, 2021, to gain insight from the market, in developing a potential new contract for a design team to work with us and other key stakeholders to design an iconic, functional electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint. This design may be used as a model for local authorities and chargepoint providers to reference. We may also seek to rollout the final design. The project would be used to generate excitement of our chargepoint rollout ambitions and start a sector wide conversation on chargepoint design.
