NEL Covid Medicines Delivery Unit for Non hospitalised patients

The current provider of the Service is meeting the contractual requirements to a satisfactory level and the intention is to award the providers the contract for the period 1st April 2025 to 30th September 2025 (with the option to extend to 31st March 2026), following PSR Direct Award Process C as there is no change to the contract terms.

The approximate value of the contract for 12 months is £208,712.

Award decision makers: Pharmacy senior management team were consulted regarding the options appraisal for the service. Investment review group 27th February 2025.

There were no conflict of interest identified in the decision making process.

The criteria for evaluation for Potential Future Performance had the following weighting :

Quality and Innovation: 20%;

Value for Money: 20%;

Integration, Collaboration, and Service Sustainability: 20%; Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities, and Facilitating Choice: 30%;

Social Value: 10%

The criteria were applied with their respective weightings as specified.

Current Performance: Assessed against Pass/Fail thresholds of overall score above.
