The Authority intends to gather this information through written responses to this RFI. The Authority is also considering holding discovery days, and further information is provided below.

Engagement process description
North Yorkshire Council (NYC) is investing in a phased programme to update the gym and fitness equipment across its leisure sites. This contract will cover the supply, delivery, and installation of gym and studio equipment, along with associated services such as maintenance and support. NYC operates a network of leisure facilities that play a key role in promoting health and wellbeing. The council is committed to providing high-quality fitness environments that meet modern standards and customer expectations. This investment aligns with NYC’s strategic objectives to increase physical activity participation and improve community health outcomes. Geographical Location Supplies and services will be provided across North Yorkshire, covering a wide geographical spread. Sites include: - - Bedale - Harrogate - Knaresborough - Northallerton - Malton - Pateley Bridge - Pickering - Pindar - Richmond - Ripon - Scarborough - Selby - Skipton - Stokesley - Tadcaster - Thirsk - Whitby Goals and Objectives: - - Invest in new, up to date equipment, with guidance from the supplier on the best solutions to meet current industry trends and standards. - Enhance user experience and engagement. - Support health and wellbeing initiatives across North Yorkshire. - Ensure cost-effective procurement and long-term sustainability. - Enable digital connectivity and data-driven insights where possible.
