Leicester City Council is looking to appoint single provider for the Provision of a Display Cases and Objects Security System. The Successful Supplier will be required to supply, install and maintain the system.
Leicester Museums & Gallery Service operates five museum sites. The Museum security systems includes an Objects and Display Case security system, at Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and Newarke Houses Museum. The Authority would like to explore the market to identify a new replacement security system to ensure better resilience and future compatibility, to improve overall business continuity in the security management of museum objects on display. A replacement system is required and there may be scope to expanding the system to include additional venues. The new replacement system will need to be user friendly and will need to meet essential museum sector standards in the security management of museum objects on display.
