Network Rail is reviewing its Occupational Health requirements and part of this includes reviewing IT platforms which would be able to support any future Occupational Health requirements.

To deliver a safe and efficient service Network Rail need healthy people who are proud to work at Network Rail and feel the care and support of the business regarding their overall health and wellbeing. NR is a complex organisation and we are heavily reliant on data. Occupational Health (OH) is imperative to our legislative compliance, medical competency of safety critical works and to support our employees and line managers to appropriately manage sickness absence and/or those employees with health conditions. Historically, OH data management has been the responsibility of the OH data supplier, which has removed the autonomy of routes & functions within Network Rail being able to fully scrutinise & work with data that suits their needs.

Network Rail (NR) is at the heart of revitalising Britain’s railways. At NR, we own, operate and develop Britain’s railway infrastructure.

In order to deliver a safe and reliable railway, we need healthy people who feel the care and support of the business regarding their overall health and wellbeing. With c45000 employees, NR is a complex organisation, heavily reliant on data. Occupational Health (OH) plays an integral part in supporting our employees’ health and meet our legislative requirements.

NR is looking to procure an effective OH IT platform which fully reflects the operational, clinical and data requirements, allowing for real time management of OH dataflows.
