The Trust has a requirement to appoint a architecture firm to support the Trust through a 'visioning process’, from which a documented Vision and Principles Plan will be the primary output. The visioning process will involve building a shared knowledge base and understanding of the current context and future possibilities around key principles and themes. Specifically, it will capture the Trust’s vision for development of the St Thomas’ campus site with the option to extend the scope to review the Trusts other sites.

Initially the selected team will be expected to focus on data gathering, analytics, structured stakeholder engagement, communication, and advocacy to identify, articulate and gain consensus around institutional priorities and strategic principles rather than architecture and masterplanning solutions. Whilst progressing and gaining consensus around the ‘Vision’ the selected team will be working on the development of the strategic ‘Principles’ which provide high level design advice regarding future development on the Campus, underpinning the Master Plan vision. Initially in relation to St Thomas’ campus, although successful performance and delivery will secure an extension of the exercise to the Trust’s other sites. At this stage it is anticipated that they will be expressed as high-level strategies from which a masterplan can be derived.
