Description
SSE Services Plc is initiating a regulated tender to establish a Telecommunications Multi-Lot Framework. This framework will create a dedicated pool of specialist providers to support the successful delivery of the T3 programme, as well as ongoing Business-As-Usual (BAU) requirements such as capacity augmentation and backfill. The aim is to ensure robust, reliable, and scalable telecoms support across Transmission, Distribution, and Renewables business units.

Lot 2. Specialist Design - This lot covers advanced design and specialist consultancy services that extend beyond in-house capabilities.
Description
• Comprehensive microwave radio engineering survey and design.
• In-depth Openreach survey and network design.
• Support for telecoms tasks not covered internally.
• Direct engagement between Telco and external vendors (e.g. Cisco, others).
• Facilitation of supplier relationships and coordination.
• Design support for substation telecommunications infrastructure.
• Proof-of-concept development involving new hardware and service models.
• Vendor Agnostic Design Solutions.
