There are circa 190 teaching and support staff. The school is housed in two buildings on opposite sides of Plashet Grove, linked by the award-winning Plashet Unity Bridge. East Ham Tube Station and High Street North are within five minutes’ walk of the school.

Plashet has a long history dating back to 1932 when the East Ham Grammar School for Girls first opened on the South site.
