Bristol City Council is seeking suitably qualified organisations to appoint to a framework for the supply and installation of new internal and external domestic lift equipment for disabled children and adults. The requirement will include the provision of: straight and curved stair lifts, Through floor lifts (Wheelchair type and Non-Wheelchair type), Internal/External platform lifts, External step lifts and External stair lifts. This will cover all tenure types within the Bristol city boundary and could be funded directly through the authority or by a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) available to a service user.
Under this contract the contractors and their supply chains will be required to actively participate in the achievement of the Contracting Authority’s social, economic and environmental objectives. Accordingly, contract documents may relate to social, economic and environmental considerations.

Bristol City Council is seeking suitably qualified organisations to appoint to a framework for the supply and installation of new internal and external domestic lift equipment for disabled children and adults. The requirement will include the provision of: straight and curved stair lifts, Through floor lifts (Wheelchair type and Non-Wheelchair type), Internal/External platform lifts, External step lifts and External stair lifts.
The service will be delivered to properties within the Council’s boundary across all tenures.
For each type of equipment listed above, the contractor shall undertake a site survey to dwelling to establish requirements, measure up, discuss and confirm requirements with Customer. The contractors will supply all the materials, plant, equipment and labour necessary to complete the works orders.
