two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The successful provider will deliver a comprehensive integrated Dermatology service model which is multi-disciplinary and high quality. The Community Dermatology Service will provide timely assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the full range of non-cancer dermatological diseases in adults. The Provider will ensure services are safe, sustainable and high quality, delivered from a range of community-based locations across the city. The Provider will form strong working relationships across primary, community and secondary care services to ensure the patient pathway is seamless and meets the needs of patients.
As a result of this Competitive Process a contract will be awarded to the successful provider for a period of 3 years, with the Commissioner having the option to extend the contract for up to a further 2 years, commencing from 01st August 2025.
A new provider has been identified as the successful provider to deliver the reprocured service.
It is anticipated that the service provision resulting from this Competitive Process will have a value of £7,640,681.48 for the contract period.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice.
The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.
The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight on 31st March 2025.
This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Any representations or correspondence regarding this outcome must be sent via the Atamis messaging portal.
