This is a Cost and Volume contract for 2 months + optional 2 months extension. Please note that as this is a Cost and Volume Contract, the value is only indicative and activity is not guaranteed.

This notice is confirmation of an award having been made due to an urgent circumstance (i.e. this is an urgent award).

Explanation:

Incumbent provider's surgical site premises suffered an electrical failure, which confirmed that the building needs a complete rewire and was thus considered condemned. Due to the time sensitive nature of these procedures, the ICB had to urgently source an alternative provider to provide these services temporarily while the incumbent provider resolves the building and site issues.
