Scope

Description

Daily provision of a uniformed First Aid service to MOD Abbey Wood consisting of 1 Trained First Aider, with QNUK Level 3 First aid at Work Qualification, in order to ensure suitable coverage of the site. This provision is for the core working hours, 08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). The requirement also has a line option for Paramedic support at a planned event.

The core period is for one year, with two one-year options. Please see the tender documents for full details of the requirement.

  • £300,000 including VAT

Description of possible extension:

There are two 1-year extension in the form of options included.

Options

The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.

There are two firm priced 1-year options included, to be exercised no more then 30 days before the contract expiry date.

There is also a firm priced option for six (6) days of Paramedic support at an annual event.

The Authority shall not be obliged to exercise the options.

Legal and financial capacity conditions of participation

A financial assessment that is proportionate to the proposed contract will be undertaken on the supplier's financial status. An overall pass / fail judgement will be made after considering areas such as turnover, profit, net assets, liquidity, gearing and capacity. This assessment will include the Parent company, where applicable. An independent financial assessment obtained from a reputable credit rating organisation may be utilised as part of this process.

Technical ability conditions of participation

The supplier must demonstrate the minimum required Technical qualifications in order to Pass the Conditions of Participation. Where the required Qualification is not demonstrated, suitable equivalents will be considered.
