two.2.4) Description of the procurement

English Heritage intends to re-tender its Measured Term Contract for the provision of Building & Civil Engineering (BC&E) Cyclical and Response Maintenance works. The contract will cover the aggregated BC&E maintenance requirements of the historic sites and additional offices/stores across England that are managed by English Heritage Trust. These sites vary significantly in terms of size, location and type and include properties that contain significant collections of historic interest. Almost all are protected as listed buildings, conservation areas etc and some are in remote areas that are difficult to access. The contract will be subdivided into Lots and detail of the final geographical split of these Lots will be provided in the final Tender documents upon release.

English Heritage Trust wishes to engage with the market ahead of this opportunity being released in order to inform the tender process and ensure this is representative of the market. Suppliers interested in this opportunity are encouraged to complete our supplier engagement questionnaire which provides additional detail about the procurement and provides all suppliers with the opportunity to provide input into the final tender approach.
