two.1.4) Short description
National mandated changes by College of Policing in how Forces should deliver PPST, has led to a requirement of significantly more space than is available at Staffordshire Police. A new venue has therefore been acquired adjacent to the Police Weston Road Headquarters, for use to carry out all Public and Personal Safety Training (PPST) for Staffordshire Officers and Staff. Following its refurbishment (taking place in the next few months), the unit will require kitting out with specialist foam matting for the floors, walls and pillars, along with structures and furniture to allow for the safe scenarios to be utilised in training. The Contracting Authority is therefore inviting Tenderers to submit Tenders for the provision of Specialist Public and Personal Safety Training (PPST) Matting and Scenario Rooms, as specified within this Invitation to Tender (ITT).

The Tender exercise is being ran using the ‘Open Procedure’ in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 with multiple Lots. The Lotting structure is as follows;
