The relevant authority intends to award this contract under the urgent circumstances provision under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.

The lifetime value of the contract is £2,600,000

This 12 month contract award is for the delivery of the school age flu vaccination for both primary/secondary cohorts in line with the national flu letter from UKHSA. The contract is based on activity and total value is not expected to exceed £2.6m. This is paid with an agreed upfront payment at contract commencement and monthly payments during delivery of the vaccine (Sept - Mar).
