Highways England would like to invite suppliers and installers of Environmental (Noise) Barriers to contribute to a review of our procurement strategy.
This is a consultative process, which will not lead directly to a procurement, but which may help to shape how future procurements are undertaken.
(It is possible that such future procurements may take place within 12 months.) Our review is broad in nature and is addressing a range of factors, not solely price.
Contributors will be asked for their view of the market and their products, including upstream and downstream supply chains, for information about their product range (including pricing), and for their views on the procurement of Environmental (Noise) Barriers directly and indirectly by Highways England.
The agenda for discussion will be:
1. Introductions
2. Purpose
3. Market Review
a. Your Company
b. Your view of the Environmental (Noise) Barriers market
c. Your Supply Chain
4. Products Review
a. Your Products and their properties and applications
b. Innovations
c. Construction & Installation
d. Maintenance
e. Compliance
5. Engaging with Highways England
