NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board intend to award a contract for the provision of an Integrated Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service in Wolverhampton.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The successful Provider will deliver an integrated MSK service model, with the overall aim of providing a multi-disciplinary team approach for the non-surgical care of people with a musculoskeletal condition, which must ensure that high quality, safe and sustainable services are delivered for patients.

As a result of this Competitive Process, a contract will be awarded to the successful Provider for a period of 3 years (1st July 2025 to 30th June 2028). The Commissioners may opt to extend the contract term by a further 2 years (1st July 2028 to 30th June 2030). The provider who previously delivered the service has been identified as the preferred provider. It is anticipated that the service provision resulting from this Competitive Process will have a value of £15,300,000 for 5 years, which includes any exercised contract extensions.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. The award decision-makers are the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board.
