Description
London Ambulance Service NHS Trust on behalf of the NHS Emergency Capabilities Unit wishes to select and appoint suitable providers onto a framework to supply Atmospheric Monitoring Devices.
It is essential that Ambulance Trusts provide appropriate gas detection equipment to safeguard personnel against a range of atmospheric hazards. This includes alerting users to the risk of explosion from combustible gases and vapours, suffocation due to oxygen deficiency, poisoning from toxic gases, and fire hazards associated with oxygen-enriched environments.
The scope of the procurement comprises the provision of gas detectors and will be divided into three separate lots. Each lot will encompass ongoing product support throughout the contract term, including requirements for routine servicing, maintenance, calibration, and software for data collection and analysis
Lot 1: Portable Single Gas Detectors
Lot 2: Portable Multi Gas Detectors
Lot 3: Area Monitors
The anticipation is to have single supplier per lot, bidders may apply for any individual lot or all three lots.
The Contracting Authority shall create a Framework Agreement for a period of three years, with an option to extend for 12 months.
