The Council undertakes various highway improvements works for a vast range of clients, ranging from Minor Highway Improvement works (up to GPB 1,000) to Major Highway Construction schemes (over GBP 1,000,000 per scheme). The Council now requires additional Highway Construction Gangs to provide roadworks labour and plant in accordance with the Council’s framework agreement for the provision of goods, services or works.

The Works include the supply of two or three person gangs with appropriate transport and plant to undertake various road related construction schemes on the highways network within the Vale of Glamorgan area. Works include site clearance, fencing, drainage, earthworks, tarmac, kerbing and other associated road works.

The Council intends to appoint a number of suppliers to the framework. The successful Suppliers will be ranked and Work will be distributed in ranking order and dependent upon Supplier availability and at the Council’s discretion.
