Building on findings of earlier work, this third and final phase will undertake an England and Wales scale assessment of how society values the different aspects of water and scale of changes in the water environment. This new set of values will replace the existing National Water Environment Benefit Survey (NWEBS) values.
Project outputs will include a new set of water benefit values and a fit-for-purpose valuation framework that will support the design of more effective policies, more robust business cases and government analysis more widely.
