The Council currently works with a partner to provide online eLearning. The system currently hosts 22 eLearning programmes for Sandwell Council staff, five of which are mandatory at present. In addition to usage by SMBC staff, the system and programmes provide an eLearning platform and offer to partner agencies working or volunteering to safeguard children, families and vulnerable adults. Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking Tenders from potential providers for the provision of a Software as a Service (SaaS) Learning Management Solution. The application will be delivered over the internet as a service using a standard internet browser.
