two.2.4) Description of the procurement

• Proximity to the hospital. This enables better pastoral care and enables cohorts to study and work more closely together providing an essential form of support. This also costs them less in travel expenses as they start on a lower band until their registration.

• Ensuite rooms (shower and toilet). We are welcoming increasingly diverse groups, nationally, religiously and culturally, and this is almost an essential requirement for a lot of nurses.

• Reasonable rent that includes bills.

• Bedding and kitchen pack provisions for each resident on arrival.

• The diversity, and sometimes, complexity of working with larger numbers of international nurse arrivals means we need a flexible, empathetic and responsive approach from the provider.

• Due to the shortage of accommodation, we need a ‘pool’ of rooms that we can use on a 3-monthly rotation, enabling us to deploy on a monthly basis. We are now unable to provide permanent accommodation and unfortunately, we need to resort to 3-month only
