The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is implementing its regional Innovation Framework

which outlines a priority to drive forward a mission-led approach to innovation. As part of this

priority, the Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint an experienced provider or

consortia to design, develop and deliver an innovation challenge competition across West

Yorkshire.

This should provide SMEs, entrepreneurs and/or start-ups with a real-world, West Yorkshire

based challenge or problem and the task of developing a new product, service, or technology

designed to address that problem through a programme of specifically targeted support,

coaching and mentoring.

The selected winners of the competition will receive additional funding to develop their

solutions and / or business ideas further

In order to provide further information and to answer questions relating to this opportunity we

would like to invite potential participants to a supplier engagement session on the 28th April

2023 via Microsoft Teams (anticipated 10.30am – 12noon).
