It is the University’s intention to invite contractors to tender for Fire Door Inspections associated with the campus buildings. Planned inspections are required to ensure that the University remains compliant with statutory legislation and systems remain efficient and operational with minimal breakdowns and subsequent disruption to business continuity. Following on from the fire door inspections the reactive maintenance repairs DO NOT form part of this tender.

The intention is for contractors to provide a fixed price tender for the inspections.

The University wishes to appoint a contractor that is competent to carry out the inspections and, promotes a positive health and safety culture, is effective at planning and coordinating their work, communicates effectively and provides a quality and cost-effective service
