The University of Birmingham invites tenders for supply of bioactive glass fibre meshes electrospun from sol-gel solutions. The meshes will form part of a MRC DPFS project to translate Biowool™ use to dental sinus lift bone grafting applications. The meshes must adhere to a strict design specifications. Therefore, it will be required as part of the project to build strong partnerships with the material providers.

The supplier must be able to demonstrate that they adhere to various industry standards expected including ISO13485 to enable Biowool to be placed in clinical use.

This project may be funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) or;

- European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) or;

- Research Councils UK (RCUK), the strategic partnership of the UK's seven Research Councils.
