Description
This procurement is for the appointment of a single contractor for the design, manufacture and installation of modular ramped access. The Council administers Disabled Facilities Grant adaptations for Privately Owned, Housing Association or Private Rented properties in Barnsley. The DFG Team process around 30 modular ramped access installations per year, to include low level threshold door and other associated works. The annual expenditure is anticipated to be around £100,000 per annum. The length of the contract is expected to be for an initial 3 years, with an option to extend for 1+1+1.
