Associated British Ports (ABP) has several MV Substations in the Southampton Eastern and Western Docks which have been scheduled for replacement. Replacement of the existing switchgear within 36 Berth, 45 Berth, 46 Berth, No6 Pump, ACLS, Meyers andWest Bay Road (WBR) substations is to be replaced with new switchgear and transformers. The new switchgear is to be installed as a direct replacement to the existing switchgear. Structural changes will be made to existing transformer bases and new bases provided as required to accommodate the new switchgear and enclosures.
