Course Providers must hold either a full NDORS licence or have been granted a provisional licence in order to participate in this exercise. Prospective bidders that do not currently hold a licence are encouraged to engage directly with UKROEd at the earliest opportunity. Please note that in the event that the contract is awarded to a provider holding a provisional licence it shall be a condition of contract that this be converted to a full licence prior to services commencing.

Please note: For clarity this is to be a concession contract, it will therefore be the responsibility of the successful course provider to process central levy receipts on behalf of the force and pay back a percentage of those receipts in order that the force cover the cost of the offence.

Approximately 45,000 courses were delivered in 2019 and 38,000 in 2020 (a drop as experienced due to COVID 19). This figure is anticipated to rise throughout the duration of this contract.
