Highlife Highland and The Highland Council collaborating together, have put in place arrangements for the provision of adult education and employability development for the Refugee Resettlement Programme. This includes a 2 Lot framework agreement.
Under these arrangements, Highlife Highland will take the lead role in co-ordinating, delivering and reporting of English Language learning provision. They will provide employability support for all adults resettled under the programme and work with key partners using the framework agreement, to provide a flexible and innovative approach to delivery. Bespoke pieces of work will be commissioned as required.
The aim is to provide a more tailored, person-centred approach to English language acquisition which will enable service users to integrate with their communities and advance their skills sufficiently to be able to seek vocational learning, employability services and employment.
The contractor is required to work in partnership with the project’s Adult Learning Co-ordinator to deliver a holistic and co-ordinated approach to English Language and tailored employability provision based on the individual needs of service users.
