This procurement was undertaken through the CCS Research and Insights Dynamic Marketplace DPS (RM6126) following a further competition.

The Contractor will be undertaking a rapid literature review focusing on what works in social care services (residential and nursing locations) to address inequalities

The review seeks to:

1) Outline types of intervention that work to tackle inequalities in a local area, including consideration of the type of intervention that best works in different local areas and for different communities.

2) Determine the critical factors that indicate there may be poor performance in reducing health inequalities in an area.

3) The review will be structured around the three themes that are integral to CQC’s assessment of ICS:
i) Leadership,
ii) Integration,
iii) Quality and safety
