Trafford Council seeks to establish a framework agreement for the appointment of a single contractor to undertake and complete appropriate servicing and repair of all the equipment listed with the aim of prolonging the life of the equipment, to reduce unnecessary breakdowns and to manage the risks of equipment failure.

The tender is to provide cover for a fully comprehensive service, repair and maintenance care of the lifts throughout the full 24 hour period of each calendar day throughout the contract period. Including all attendances for breakdown and lift-related incidents however arising, but excluding those elements indicated in the schedule of exclusions. The cover is to include the cost of all repairs, labour and materials for each range of assets on an annual basis.
